Lahore: Pakistan’s well known human rights activist and former president of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Asma Jahangir has said that she would not leave the country despite reeving life threats.
Pointing toward Pakistani rulers she said that the government would be responsible if something happened to her.
Mrs Jahangir said that establishment wanted everyone to obey it. She claimed that efforts were put to eliminate progressives. She added that it would not make any difference if she was murdered but the act would further erode Pakistan’s position.
Asma Jahangir said that spy chief should be a civilian.
