Ipoh: After a great win against India on first day of Azlan Shah Cup Hockey, New Zealand on Friday defeated Argentina by 5-2 in fourth match of the tournament.
Both the team completed first half with 2-2 but the black sticks came back very strongly in final half and scored three goals to get 5-2 win.
Arun Panchia, Shay Neal, Hayward, Richard Patherick and Phil Burrows scored one goal each for New Zealand while Lucas Vila and Lucas Cammareri hit the ball in net for Argentina.
On Thursday, Pakistan defeated Argentina while New Zealand outclassed India. Host Malaysia  played draw with South Korea.
In second match, Malaysia played 3-3 draw against Great Britain. The host scored two goals in last three minutes to avoid defeat.
