Chicago: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday met his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai and US Foreign Secretary Hillary Clinton in Chicago, and discussed issues regarding maintaining peace in Afghanistan.
Both Presidents and the foreign minister were present in Chicago to participate in Nato’s summit, in order to discuss regarding the withdrawal of foreign troops from the war-torn country.
The both presidents discussed the role of Pakistan in the withdrawal of Nato troops and maintaining peace in post 2014 Afghanistan.
Pakistani ambassador to United States (US) Sherry Rehman and Foreign Minster Hina Rabbani Khar were also present at the occasions.
On other hand, During President’s meeting with Hillary Clinton, the both leaders discussed issues of Pak-US ties, resumption of Nato supplies and future of Afghanistan.
