London: As Samsung officially announces launch of next Galaxy phone in London on May 3, report says that the Galaxy S III will be the official device of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
However arrival of the Galaxy S III, as received officially, is conspicuously devoid of details like name or specifications.
The previous versions of Galaxy i.e., S I and II are already sold in millions of units so far. Started two years ago, Galaxy phones have led the Android market so far with tough competition from Apple and HTC.
“There could be simultaneous launch events in New York City, Seoul and Dubai,” BGR quoted cited sources as saying.
The Samsung Galaxy S III is one the most anticipated smartphones of 2012, sharing the honor with the HTC One X and the iPhone 5.
Samsung Galaxy S III will come in two color options, one in blue and black, and a second in white. There will be 16GB and 32GB models as well, and additional specs include 1.5GZ quad-core processor, 4.8 inch 1048p HD display, an 8 megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front facing camera, and 4G LTE connectivity.
