Multan: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has siad that government is ready to set-up Saraiki province in South Punjab.
Taking to a business community in Multan on Sunday, the president asked the traders to make Saraiki Bank project successful. “54 branches of Sindh bank have been set-up during last three years,” he said.
He said that they were aware of the problems of agriculture sector. The government is trying to get hight quality cotton seeds.
President Zardari said Rs15 billion would be given the traders of South Punjab for the solution of the problems.
The president said that his democratic government was not scared of challenges and added that they were committed to solve all the problem of the country including major energy crisis.
He said that he had raised water issue with the Indian prime minister, adding that Indian PM had objection to go in arbitrary court.
