Islamabad: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl has decided to continue boycott of all the parliamentary committees, including the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) reviewing fresh terms of engagements with United States in the aftermath of cross border attack on army posts that killed 26 soldiers on Nov 26 last year.
During a meeting of JUI-F parliamentary committee on Monday, the JUI-F warned that it would resist any move to approve the bill on domestic violence.
It said that the bill on domestic violence was an effort to promote westernization in Pakistan.
The committee warned that the JUI-F would hold countrywide demonstrations across the country along with other religious parties if the government went on to get approved the bill due to its majority in the parliament.
