Lahore: Likely to be a counter strategy to control growing influence of Imran Khan in Punjab province, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) decides to set up a special cell to get analytical reports of national and provincial constituencies for upcoming election.
Political analysts believe that only PML (N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have better understanding of politics at the constituency level.
“The real contest could be only between PML (N) and PPP while Tsunami of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf would likely to get minor share in the general elections,” they commented.
The sources within PMLN said that the party had started preparation for the general election like others parties.
“It’s leadership has formed a special cell for getting detailed analytical report including Gilgit, Federally Administered Area and other parts of the country.”
According to the reports, the special cells comprised of senior and junior party workers.
The committee would contact with all important persons and communities to get details about their political affiliations and voting tendency and then forward it to the central leadership.
