Islamabad: Protest against power outages entered third day on Monday as enraged demonstrators attacked a fuel station in Lahore and tried to set it on fire.
One of the protesters was killed when the security guard deployed at the petrol pump, located at Darogha, opened fire on them in a bid to stop them.
The firing sparked more violence and they blocked roads and burnt tyres, chanting slogans against    the federal government and the PEPCO.
Police rushed to the spot and used tear gas to disperse them. Protesters also closed GT road and pelt passing by vehicles with stones.
