Washington: The president of United Nations (UN) General Assembly Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser on Monday said that serious actions should be taken against Syrian government led by Bashar-ul-Asad for brutally killing innocent people in the country.
Addressing the meeting of UN General Assembly Abdulaziz said that the situation of Syria was deteriorating day by day.
“If UN Security Council fails to take any action against Syria then General Assembly would take serious steps to avoid further killings in the country,” he added.
The General Assembly president further said that more 8000 people were killed in the crackdowns carried out by the government forces.
