Gilgit: As the tension continued to grip Gilgit-Baltistan region in the wake of brutal killing of 18 Shiites, local administration has announced public holidays in the area till March 4.
The deputy commissioner Gilgit in a handout issued here on Thursday said that all the school and government office would remain closed till Sunday.
The authorities in Gilgit-Baltistan had announced the three-day holidays in the region as the tension gripped the area after the killing of 18 Shiites in Kohistan bus attack on Tuesday.
