Nawabshah: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that if the government served the country, no one have been chanting slogan of of ‘Go Zardari Go’ across Sindh.
Addressing a rally in Qazi Ahmed, Nawaz Sharif said that the government displayed ignorance towards flood relief efforts and that is why farms were still inundated.
Nawaz referred to the laptop distribution in Punjab as revolution and assured that he would order Punjab’s chief minister Shahbaz Sharif to distribute laptops to the students in Sindh as well.
He said that his government had eradicated the culture of terror in Sindh earlier and if they would be given a chance this time by people of Pakistan then they would continue to do the same.
The PML-N leader further condemned the slapping incident by Waheeda Shah and said that Shah was a cause of disgrace for Pakistan and if any PML-N worker would have done the same thing he would immediately be expelled from the party. “Supreme Court has taken suo moto against Waheeda Shah but Pakistan Peoples Party had taken no action against her,” he added.
The PML-N leader strongly condemned the attack on Geo News satellite van and said that such people were neither sincere with the country nor with the ruling PPP.
He vowed to unite the country and aimed at constructing a new highway that would connect Sindh and Punjab provinces.
