Delhi: Indian Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants from the capital.
According to sources, the accused were allegedly planning to carry out terror strikes in Delhi targeting vital installations and high officials. They added that the police conducted an operation on a tip-off to arrest to the two.
Delhi Police spokesman Rajan Bhagat confirmed the arrest of the two terrorists, but refused to divulge any details.
“It is not the appropriate time to divulge information as the operations are still going on,” Bhagat said.
