Dubai: Pakistan ambassador to United Arab Emirates, Jameel Ahmed on Wednesday has hinted that cricket series between Pakistan and India is likely to be played in 2013.
Talking to media after meeting with Indian ambassador, Jameed Ahmed has said that he was discussed a matter of cricket series between the two counties and was hoping the series in 2013 in UAE.
He said that the Indian ambassador also wanted the series but the decision regarding this would be taken by mutual understand of the two countries.
Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Zaka Ashraf said that Board of Control for Cricket in Indian (BCCI) faced difficulties to get clearance to resume cricketing ties with Pakistan. He further said that (BCCI) was afraid of the recent outstanding performance of Pakistan’s cricket team thats why it was hesitant to play against Pakistan
