Larkana: District administration and education department has replaced scarf with Ajrak (a cultural shawl) a part of school uniform in the district and made it mandatory for girls to wear Ajrak instead of scarf in the schools.
Deputy Commissioner and Director Education Larkana distributed Ajraks free of cost among the9th and 10th class girl’s students of various schools in the district.
Abdul Aleem Lashari DC Larkana told media that district administration and education department jointly decided that Ajrak would be a compulsory part of school uniform for girls. He informed that about 7200 Ajraks would be distributed in the Larkana free of cost.
