Islamabad: BlackBerry Company Research and Motion (RIM) has sent its reply to the memogate commission.
According to a TV report, RIM has sent record of conversation between Mansoor Ijaz and Hussain Haqqani to the commission and refused to give the record to the Attorney General Pakistan.
According to the reports, RIM said the BlackBerry data could not be given to anyone other than its client.
It said under privacy law the data could not be given to irrelevant party. However , the company said the legal team was reviewing application of the attorney general.
A 3-judge commission set up by the Supreme Court of Pakistan which has resumed its hearing today has been told by the attorney general about the RIM’s refusal.
