Islamabad: Asma Jehangir, Hussain Haqqani’s counsel in Memogate case, has said that she salutes Pakistan Army for their sacrifices during war against terrorists.
She told media after the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing into the memogate case that she argued about the basic human rights during the hearing.
Mrs. Jehangir said that her client’s name was not mentioned in the memo that was sent to former US security advisor James Jones by Mansoor Ijaz.
She said that how come a piece of paper posed a threat to life of anyone, adding that why ISI Chief Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha met Mansoor Ijaz in London. Jehangir said that Ijaz has been hatching conspiracies against the country.
