Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that peace talks should be held with the Taliban but after taking all the stakeholders into confidence.
Talking to a local television on Wednesday, the minister who has lost his only son during war on terror, said open talks should be held with the proscribed outfit and a committee should also be formed in this regard.
Hussain opposed any secret talks with the militants, saying secret and separate talks would not succeed. He added that terrorists should be eliminated to maintain peace in the country.
The information minister said that law and order situation in KPK had improved for couple of years.
