Gujranwala: At least five people were burnt alive and 11 others injured as a gas cylinder of passenger van caught fire after an accident here in Gujranwala on Wednesday.
Sources said that the cylinder exploded when the van, carrying 16 passengers, overturned due to over speeding. “The injured and bodies have been shifted to a nearby hospital,” sources said.
On Tuesday, 12 people were burnt alive in Khairpur district of Sindh province when a CNG cylinder caught fire due to leakage of gas.
