Peshawar: At least 25 militants were killed and several others injured when Pakistani security forces retaliated militants attack in Goqamar area of Orakzai Agency of country’s north western tribal region.
Sources said on Wednesday, several militants attacked Pakistani check-post which led 17 security personnel wounded including a major ranked officer. They added that the forces retaliated and killed 25 militants.
Orakzai is the only tribal agency of Pakistan which does not borders Afghanistan. Militancy and sectarian violence has been in vogue for few years in the Agency while Pakistani security forces have been battling in region against the militants since 2008.
