Karachi: Convocation Ceremony 2011 of Karachi University is all set to to organize on December 17 in which reward will be given to the hard work and diligence of its students.
But the crisis have been emerged after the KU said that the gold medals would not be conferred on the students enrolled under the four-year BS programme, which was introduced in 2007, only because the university had not negotiated its terms with private sponsors.
Spokesman of the university has said that the event will be organized after two years and students of the year 2009 and 2010 will be conferred degrees during the convocation.
Vice Chancellor and other prominent guests will also attend the convocation ceremony.
According to KU officials, the decision was taken to allay concerns of passing-out graduates who were said to have been finding it difficult to get jobs as many employers were asking for a Masters degree.
