Karachi: At least three people were killed during a fresh wave of violence in Lyari area of Karachi on Tuesday.
According to police, three people including a private TV program director were killed during an exchange of fire between two rival group.
Police said that the incident took place at Hangura Mohalla of the locality, adding that stray bullets hit a private TV program director Abdul Rahman, 60, sitting outside his residence. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police also found two bodies near Juna Masjid in Lyari, shot dead after subjecting them to severe torure. One of the deceased was identified as Aalok Gawadri.
