Sahiwal: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that if the 100 million people of Punjab can live without US aid then the entire nation can do so.
He says the nation have to decide whether it wants to live life of honour or humiliation. He was talking to media after offering condolences with the grieved family of captain Usman who was killed in a Nato airstrike on Pakistan outposts in Mohmand tribal region near Afghan border.
He paid homage to the late soldier and said the nation was proud of him.” People of Pakistan will never forget sacrifices of our martyrs,” Shahbaz added.
The chief minister said the temporary decisions would not lead to lasting solution of the problem. “Our soldiers are being killed by those for whom we are fighting war,” he said.
He said that the Punjab government refused to take US aid six month ago and the people of Punjab were still alive.
