Lahore: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar on Sunday has said that Mansoor Ijaz was a conspirator but if Hussain Haqqani found involved in the Memo issue than Prime Minister House would be responsible.
Talking to media here in Lahore, Mukhtar said that it is not possible to take any action against bureaucrats without investigation, adding that action against Haqqani will be taken after the investigations.
“Next few months in the country would be politically difficult,” he said and added that conspiracies against the democratic government would not be succeeded.
He said that Nawaz Sharif has a right to take the memo issue to the Supreme Court. “Government cannot be destabilise by holding rallies.”
He said Mansoor Ijaz was a conspirator and he had been involved many conspiracies against Pakistan in Past.
Earlier on Sunday, Hussain Haqqani, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, who is in the midst of a political storm stirred by his  alleged letter to Mansoor Ijaz arrived here in Islamabad to explain his role in the issue that has created the biggest crisis for the PPP-led coalition government.
It is to be mentioned here that Haqqani has already offered to resign, saying that he was ready to reign if it defuse the crisis.
