Lahore: An application has been submitted in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, seeking orders against Hussain Haqqani, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, for his role in the memo written to Admiral Mike Mullen.

He prayed that an inquiry commission should be formed to probe the issue.
Haqqani has been facing criticism over an alleged memorandum sent to the former US joints chiefs of staff committee by President Asif Ali Zardari, seeking Washington’s help to stop a potential coup by the Pakistan Army in the wake of May 2 US raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
Moreover, Haqqani has left for Pakistan to explain memogate.
