Islamabad: Pakistan Railways (PR) has decided to downsize 5045 jobs of grade one to 20 to control losses, local private television reported on Wednesday.
According to details, PR officials has said that the summery regarding downsize has been forwarded the government.
They said that operational jobs in the organization would remain open after the approval of summery.
It is pertinent to mention here that PR meeting is underway in the capital to think over reducing railways losses.
Meanwhile, PR said in a notification that 58 percent passenger trains would remain suspended till the availability of locomotives.
