Maldives: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday met Afghan President Hamid Karzai in the Maldives.
According to reports, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Khan Ghori also attended the meeting.
Both the leaders discussed issues of mutual interest and regional security. Karzai told Gilani that Kabul’s increasing relations with India would not affect its ties with Pakistan.
Both the leaders agreed to enhance cooperation to eliminate terrorism.
 Gilani said that Pakistan would continue backing peace process in Afghanistan.
