Lahore: The 134th birth anniversary of renowned poet and philosopher Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal is being observed today.
The main event will be held at Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore where Pakistan fresh guards will assume duties at the Mazar.
Cultural, educational and literary organizations have organized different programmes to mark the day in a befitting manner and pay homage to the great poet who envisioned the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of subcontinent.
