Peshawar: Government of Pakistan has decided to release children and women who have been arrested under FCR-40.
Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa (KPK) Barrister Masood Kausar has sought details about nature of these cases from FATA secretariat, home department and political agents keeping in view the proposed reforms in the tribal areas. However the children and women arrested in heinous crimes would not be released. The remaining would be released after their cases are reviewed.
A special monitoring cell has also been set up in FATA secretariat and governor secretariat. The cases will be scrutinized after the details are received from respective quarters.
