Karachi: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has assured that general election would be held in 2013.
He said this in a meeting of Pakistan People’s Party’s think tank in Bilawal House Karachi. Different issues like political situation of the country, working relationship with MQM and other coalition parties, political developments in Punjab and other were discussed in the meeting.
President Zardari said that 2013 was the year of general election. He urged the PPP leaders to accelerate the communication with public and develop a working relationship with allies including PML-Q.
He also directed the participants of the meeting to transfer policy of reconciliation to the grass root level and to avoid any type of political conflict.
