Karachi: Pakistan Minister for Petroleum Dr. Asim Hussain has said that the consortium of banks for the project of Pak-Iran gas Pipeline had been formed and an offer of 1.40 billion dollars loan had already been made.
Dr. Asim said that the progress in Pak-Iran gas pipeline project was moving ahead of its schedule and the consortium had been formed with the cooperation of ICB.
He said terms were being discussed after the offer of 1.4 billion dollars loan for the project.
