Kashmiris to observe ‘Black Day’ today

Srinagar: People of disputed Kashmir will  observe October 27 as Black Day.

The purpose of observing this day is to raise voice against the Indian atrocities in disputed territory.

Pakistan would also observe the day to show solidarity with the wronged people.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, Government of Pakistan to this effect said that various programmes have been chalked out with reference to showing sympathies with the Kashmiri people and unveiling the Indian barbarism.

The print and electronic media have also been appealed in the notification to publish and broadcast special programmes with reference to the black day highlighting the Indian atrocities to the people particularly the world community so that the message of the suppressed Kashmiris who were just fighting for the cause of their self determination could clearly be conveyed to the herald of justice in an effective manner.
