Karachi: Pakistan’s former military ruler Gen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf has said that All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) will make confederation with Bangladesh and take practical steps for freedom of Kashmir from the Indian bondage after coming into power.
He was addressing a meeting telephonically here on Sunday.
Central leaders of APML Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Dr. Ghulam Mujtaba, Brig(R) Hamid Nawaz and Muhammad Ali Jaffery were also present on the occasion.
The APML chief said that every patriot citizen of Pakistan has concern on the prevailing law and order situation in the country. The carnage in Karachi was taken place in the name of ethnicity. Situation of Karachi puts impact on entire country. The sitting government has been failed as its writ is not seen anywhere, he said.
“We had brought the economy of the country to respectable level in eight years tenure but the current government spoiled the whole progress made by the country. The matter of bringing the foreign investors remained away but even Pakistani investors are moving abroad”, Musharraf added.
He said that he would come back to Pakistan on 23rd March next year and APML would take part in next general elections with full power.
The former president said that Karachi is his city and he did a lot of developmental work in it. Parks, flyovers and roads were constructed here during his regime.
