California: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Washington Hussain Haqqani has said that Islamabad and Washington have to bring their ties on normalcy.
He was addressing in the University of California on Tuesday. He said that continuation of democracy in the only solution of Pakistan.
Haqqani said that the regular counter statements from the both the countries were a big challenge. He said that both the countries could unite on same issues.
Pak-US ties should not be damaged through a few incidents, he added.
Haqqani’s statement came at the time when US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton is going to visit Pakistan within a few days.
After Clinton visit to Islamabad, American President Barack obama will also visit Pakistan in January 2012.
