New Dehli: India defeated England by eight wickets in the second one-day international at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium here on Monday.
After this triumph India has got a 2-0 lead in five-match series.
England won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 237 runs all out in 48th over of allotted 50 overs game. Kevin Pietersen scored 46 runs.
Vinay Kumar grabbed four wickets while Umesh Yadv bowled out two English players.
Indian chased the total in the 37th over for the loss of two wickets. Virat Kholi scored unbeaten 112 runs not out while Gautam Ghambir scored 84 runs not out.
Kholi was declared man of the match.
The hosts had won the first one-day in Hyderabad by 126 runs. The third match will be played in Mohali on Thursday.
