Karachi: Pakistan cricket team’s former captain Shahid Afridi has announced his comeback in international cricket.
Talking to media on Tuesday, Afridi said that he had not announced his retirement from the international cricket.
He said, “I refused to play in presence of previous cricket board administration but the board has been changed now that’s why I am available for selection”
“I am ready to play under any captain”, he said.
The all-rounder felicitated Zaka Ashraf for taking charge as chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board.
The 31-year-old all-rounder announced his sudden retirement from international cricket after being dumped as one-day captain following a row over selection with team coach Waqar Younis during the tour of the West Indies in May this year.
Several former Pakistani cricketers have also appreciated Afridi’s decision to comeback in international cricket.
