Karachi: Karachi police on Tuesday arrested an alleged target killer involved in the murder of 42 people. Official sources said that Aaif was arrested during a raid in Clifton area.They said that a huge cache of arms, including two Kalashnikovs, two hand-grenades, two 7mm rifles and four pistols were recovered from the possession of the accused.
Police claimed that Asif admitted to killing 42 people, including a brother of Station House Officer (SHO) Clifton Shafiq Khan Tanoli and five others in the Gulshan-i-Iqbal area, and dumped their bodies inside a passenger bus.
They added the suspect was also allegedly involved in an attack on a police station in 1994.
In the latest incident unknown man was killed by the firing of security guard in the area of Bin Qasim, Police said that the reason of murder still not clear.
Another person named Hakim Khan, 23 try to committed suicide in purana haji camp. Khan was rushed to civil hospital immediately after the incident but he did not succumb to his injuries.
Meanwhile, police conducted a raid in Awami Colony and arrested one Ishaq, SSP east said.
