Lahore: As many as two people died of dengue fever in Lahore, taking the death toll to 206 in the city and 226 in Punjab on Saturday.
According to reports, Khadija,22, resident of Chohan road and 60-year-old Asad Mehmood, resident of Wassnpura died of the deadly outbreak.
The deaths took place in the city’s Meo Hospital. Official sources said that 250 more dengue cases had been reported on Saturday and the number of dengue affected people had risen to 16,638 in Lahore.
