Karachi: Former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has announced support for Nawaz Sharif against Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s terror activities. He has also invited him to visit Badin.
During an interview with a Pakistani television channel on Thursday, he said he was not a servant of anyone that everything would be tolerated. He said he was ready to meet with Nawaz Sharif anywhere.
He also indicated to break relationship with President Asif Ali Zardari. He said his wife Fehmida Mirza could also be asked to quit speakership of the National Assembly.
PML-N has decided to submit a resolution in the National Assembly of Pakistan to call Mirza and explain his statements against MQM.
On the other hand, President Zardari has called a meeting of PPP ministers in Islamabad on Friday to discuss this issue.
Sources said several PPP Sindh ministers have announced support for Mirza.
PML-N sources have also confirmed that Nawaz Sharif and Mirza would meet soon.
