Lahore: The judge who allowed physical remand of Ayesha Ahad Malik, alleged wife of Hamza Shahbaz, has been transferred.
Tahir Pervez, judge of the anti terrorism court, has been transferred to Sahiwal.
The court had remanded Ayesha on Oct 4 to police custody till Oct 14 in a kidnappingĀ for ransom case. She questioned this order through a writ petition before the Lahore High Court.
Chief Justice LHC Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry ordered her release on bail on Friday.
The case against Ayesha was registered with the Defence Women Police Station on the complaint of a lady who alleged that her son Joseph was kidnapped forĀ ransom on September 27.
She is the daughter of PML-Q leader Ahad Malik. She has claimed that she was married to Hamza.
Ayesha says she has all the evidence including video and documents about the marriage and will make it public soon. She says she is being politically victimised. False cases have been registered and life threats are being hurled, she added.
