Lahore: Ayesha Malik, who claims to be wife of Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, has been released on bail in kidnapping for ransom case.
Ayesha Malik was arrested under the charges of kidnapping her servant for ransom. She is daughter of PML-Q leader Ahad Malik.
She has claimed that she was married to Hamza Shahbaz Sharif who had pledged not to come under family or political pressure.
Ayesha said she has all the evidences including video and documents about marriage and she would make it public soon. She also assailed the charges against her and says she is being politically victimised as she committed no offence.
False cases were registered against her and life threats were being hurled on her and her family, she added.
Chief Justice Lahore High Court Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry Friday admitted Ayesha Ahad Malik, the daughter of former MPA, Ahad Malik, to bail in a case registered with the Defence Women Police Station on the complaint of a Philippines lady for allegedly kidnapping her son Joseph for ransom on September 27.
Talking to media, Riffat Ahad, mother of Ayesha said there is no dengue in Punjab but Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Sharif are dengue.
Earlier, SC, Anti-terrorism, Lahore had remanded the petitioner, Ayesha on Oct 4 to policy custody till Oct 14, and she questioned this order through the writ petition before the LHC.
