Lahore: Ayesha Ahad Malik, daughter of former MPA Ahad Malik, on Wednesday appeared before a medical board for medical checkup.
Talking to media, she said that the Punjab government would try to influence the report of the checkup.
She expressed the hope that the judiciary would provide justice to her.
Ayesha had submitted a complaint in the Anti-Terrorism Court against police torture during detention.
The court on Monday ordered MS Service Hospital to constitute a medical board for her checkup and present a report to it.
