Islamabad: Ijaz Butt has not been directed to continue working as Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, said presidential spokesman Farhatullah Khan Babar on Tuesday.
He said any decision to appoint a new PCB chairman was likely to be taken in a meeting to be held at the President House on Wednesday.
Butt completed his term as PCB head on Oct 6. It is likely that he would be replaced by Zaka Ashraf, a prominent industrialist.
