Muzaffarabad: The sixth anniversary of Pakistan’s worst and deadly earthquake of October 8, 2005 was being observed across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Friday, to pay tribute to the martyrs and victims of the catastrophe.
Various programmes would be arranged with special prayers for the rest of the departed souls of the quake victims in eternal peace and to express complete solidarity and sympathies with the survivors of the history’s worst natural catastrophe.
Fateha Khawanis would be offered for the martyrs, and sirens would be blown at 8:52 a.m. besides one minute silence across the country.
