Islamabad: Expressing dissatisfaction over the government performance, federal minister belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) have submitted their resignations to the party leadership, local media reported here today.
According to reports, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain presided over a party meeting where the ministers severely criticized the government over its failure to cope with the increasing loadshedding that has sparked countrywide protests.
Riaz Peerzada, a minister from the PML-Q told media that Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, and Faisal Saleh Hayat also submitted their resignations to Shujaat.
It is to mention here that if the PML-Q decides to leave the coalition government the PPP led government will lose majority in the house.
Meanwhile, all the lawmakers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have been asked to reach Karachi, a step which experts sees a rare development  in the presence of PPP leader Babar Awan in Karachi.
