Quetta: The Balochistan High Court Tuesday directed the media not to disseminate threats given terrorists out fits.
A division bench of the BHC headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Esa was hearing suo motu case into the Mastung target killing incident in which armed men shot dead over 35 people, belonging to Hazara community based in Quetta.
During the hearing the chief justice directed the representatives of electronic and print media not to disseminate the statements issued by the terror outfit.
Media persons told the court that they were threaten if they didn’t broadcast or publish statements of banned organizations.
The CJ ruled the media representatives to leave their jobs if they could not face the threats.
