Mansehra: At least seven policemen were killed and another eight injured when a bomb exploded near a police vehicle in Mansehra district of Pakistan northwestern province of Khyber Pukhtunkha on Saturday.
District police officer Mansehra told media that a vehicle carrying 32 policemen were heading towards Kala Dhaka when it was struck. Heavy contingent of police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
The dead and injured were taken to nearby a hospital. The DCO said that police vehicle was completely destroyed due to the blast. He said police have launched investigation into the attack and nature of the blast was yet to be ascertained but it seems it was mine-blast
