Islamabad: Senate Standing Committee on Defence has said that any attack on Pakistani soil will meet befitting response.
The committee met here under the chairmanship of Javed Ashraf Qazi to deliberate on implications of the deteriorating Pak-US relations.
He called upon US to provide evidences against its allegation on Pakistan and its institutions.
“American helicopters will not go back if they attack Pakistan” he said, adding that the US provided $ 8.6 billion aid to Pakistan during the last 10 years. Qazi said that radar system and utility helicopter have not been provided so far.
The members of committee also vowed to extend their support for the All Parties Conference (APC) to be held on Thursday.
