Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Chief has said that Prime Minister Pakistan’s personal fund should be spent on flood affected people.
PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif said prime minister’s 29 billion rupees fund should be distributed among flood-hit people while information ministry’s nine billion rupees fund should also distribute among the affected people.
Talking to a private Pakistani news channel Express News’ Programmge Kal Tak, he said PML-N was partially active in the flood-hit areas but there is not government in the flood-hit areas. He said government should imposed flood tax to help flood-affected people.
He said he is ready in every good step of the government. He said government officials should be in the flood affected areas instead of attending their programmes.
Sharif said situation in the flood-hit areas was alarming and people including children and women were crying for help. He said people were surviving lives without shelters and when they were asked about government relief activities they said no government official visited here to help us.
