Islamabad: Some 120,000 pregnant women are among those affected by the recent floods and torrential rains in Sindh province of Pakistan.
These women face a risk from water borne diseases and majority of them have been living without shelter since recent floods started in the province.
Chairman NDMA – National Disaster Management Authority – has set up a team to help these pregnant women. This task force will work together with the international and federal health agencies.
