Kabul: Two NATO have been killed in a roadside bomb attack in southern Afghanistan.
The two soldiers were killed on Thursday, AP news agency cited a brief statement released by the US-led Western military alliance.
NATO, however, did not release the name or nationality of the victims.
Roadside bombs and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) are the most lethal weapon use Taliban militants against foreign troops and Afghan forces.
According to the official figures released by the website icasualties.org, a total of 424 foreign troops have lost their lives in war-battered Afghanistan so far this year.
The increasing number of military casualties in Afghanistan has caused widespread anger in the US and other NATO member states, undermining public support for the Afghan war.
